Juma Chipeta joined Stephen George + Partners (SGP) in 2017 as a Principal Architect to assist the Director with co-ordinating and preparing design information in the Birmingham office. In 2022, Juma was promoted to Associate.

He has over 30 years of experience in architecture, which includes 16 years substantially in housing including specialist mental health units and care homes; other sectors in which he has experience in are commercial office and industrial buildings.

Juma has been the recipient of a ‘Built in Quality’ award granted for a residential development at High Street, Brownhills, Walsall, 2011-12.

He has also participated in achieving the ‘Winner of the Rural Regeneration Initiative of the Decade Award’ granted to client, Trent & Dove Housing, due to the redevelopment of St. John’s Square, Uttoxeter (RegenWM Prizes 2010).

His technical designs attained a Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6 credit on two units at Holyhead Road, Telford, 2011-12.
