Over the past three decades, Steve has dedicated his career to designing and delivering high-quality healthcare and social care environments that enhance the patient experience, support better health outcomes and respond to the evolving needs of modern care.

As Studio Director and Healthcare Sector Lead at SGP, Steve brings specialist expertise across acute hospitals, primary care, mental health, care homes and specialist care environments.  He combines strategic thinking with extensive technical knowledge, helping clients translate complex clinical, operational and estates requirements into practical, future-focused design solutions.A passionate advocate for digital innovation, Steve works with healthcare systems across the UK and internationally to create digitally enabled hospitals that meet current clinical demands while remaining flexible enough to embrace future technologies.

Steve is a member of the IHEEM Strategic Estates Management Advisory Platform, which gives him a regular presence at the annual IHEEM Healthcare Estates Conference, where he addresses major industry themes including digital transformation, future healthcare planning and the changing demands placed on the healthcare estate.
