James Blood joined Stephen George + Partners in 2018 as BIM Manager. He has over 20 years of experience in architecture and working in a range of sectors include industrial, retail, offices, leisure, residential, education and commercial.

He has considerable & detailed knowledge/experience in and around BIM. Including defining business strategies, structuring and defining architectural service provision and the implementation thereof; with openBIM standards, methodologies, technologies and processes at the core. He also has experience assisting clients with defining their information requirements and the subsequent production of the resulting documentation (EIR & BEPs) where applicable.

James has experience acting as model & information manager on live collaborative BIM projects and fulfilled both these roles on the first IPI project in the UK, which was delivered close to Level 2, as defined under the Government’s mandate.

James has a good underpinning knowledge/understanding of the commercial aspects of the Architectural service and the wider construction industry which allow him to be an effective decision maker.
