Working closely with Prologis and contractor Glencar, SGP helped deliver extensive improvements to the building’s internal and external spaces.

These included refinished concrete floors, upgraded cladding, refurbished administrative and welfare facilities, and a new entrance atrium incorporating glass balustrades. Improvements to racking and mezzanine areas further enhanced the building’s functionality for modern occupiers.

External works included new amenity decking made from recycled materials, low-energy lighting, EV charging points, cycle storage and rooftop solar panels. The completed refurbishment achieved BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings, demonstrating the value of adapting existing buildings to meet contemporary sustainability and operational standards.

SGP also acted as Building Regulations Principal Advisor, working collaboratively with the project team to resolve design and construction challenges, maximise the potential of the existing building and deliver a high-quality facility suited to modern logistics operations.
