Stephen George + Partners (SGP) is delighted to welcome Annie Beeton to the practice for her year out placement at the end of June 2025

Annie’s journey into architecture began at her former school, Royds Academy (now Oulton Academy), where she first engaged with our ‘Architecture and Sustainability – Looking to the Future’ pilot, developed in partnership with BriefCases UK. This award-winning schools programme, focused on the Built Environment, has been delivered every summer by SGP to educate Year 8 students in construction, sustainability, and design.

Inspired by her early experience, Annie went on to study architecture at university. Over the years, she returned to Oulton Academy to support the delivery of the programme, helping to motivate the next generation of young designers.

We’re incredibly proud to now have Annie join us as she continues to develop her skills and gain hands-on experience in the profession.

We would like to extend our thanks to Alistair Branch, Alan Soper, Sue Eyre, and the wider SGP team for their continued support and involvement in the schools programme. Their commitment has helped build meaningful bridges between education and practice.
