The design refined previously approved proposals to better align with Panattoni’s brand while enhancing operational efficiency for DPD. Adjustments such as optimised van parking ensured a practical, high-performing layout tailored to the end user.

Architecturally, the scheme retained the graduated cladding concept, reinterpreted through a greyscale palette with subtle Sargasso blue accents. A white ‘goalpost’ feature reduced the building’s visual mass, with the office design adapted to suit the updated approach.

All three units were designed to meet enhanced ESG standards, achieving Net Zero Carbon in development, incorporating PV and EV infrastructure, and targeting EPC ‘A’ and BREEAM ‘Excellent’ ratings, supporting long-term performance and value.

Close collaboration with the contractor and tenant ensured a coordinated delivery, resulting in a flexible, future-ready logistics development in a well-connected location with strong access to regional, national and international networks.
