SGP Appoints new Studio Director for London
Stephen George + Partners LLP (SGP) is delighted to announce the appointment of Muhammad Khan as Studio Director at the AJ100 Practice’s London office.
Says Muhammad: “My role is to focus on SGP’s presence in the south east and London, maintaining and developing relationships with key clients and stakeholders and continuing to deliver the SGP commitment to quality design and practical delivery for our clients – new and old.”
With experience of design across sectors including mission critical, industrial and logistics, commercial, aviation, retail, residential and healthcare, Muhammad has also been tasked with developing new business, particularly in areas such as data centres and science and biomedical.
Continues Muhammad: “I am particularly interested in encouraging and supporting younger architects and SGP is keen for me to continue my passion for internal and external architectural mentoring, particularly in collaboration with the Student RIBA Mentoring Scheme and London South Bank University. My aim is to create a knowledge sharing environment where each member of staff is treated as a valued individual rather than a cog in the machine.”
Says Michael Barker, Senior Partner at SGP: “We are excited to welcome Muhammad; his skills, experience and track record of championing quality design and technical excellence fit perfectly with SGP’s vision and will be a key step in expanding our London operation as part of our ongoing diversification.”
Muhammad joins SGP from Sheehan Nagle Hartray Associates Limited, having previously worked at TTSP Limited and Michael Sparks Associates LLP.
