Celebrating Culture and Community: Highlights from the Summer Fair

SGP’s Summer Fair, held at The Hub in DIRFT, was a joyful and memorable highlight of this year’s annual gathering. Building on the energy of our 55-year celebration, the fair brought together colleagues from our London, Leicester, Leeds, Solihull, and Longbridge offices for a day filled with connection, laughter, and celebration.

The Hub provided an ideal setting for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. It was a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new colleagues, and strengthen the relationships that are at the heart of SGP’s collaborative culture.

The day kicked off with a warm-up round of practice bingo, sparking plenty of laughs and friendly competition, and setting the tone for the team building games that followed. Enthusiasm ran high as teams joined in with good humour, cheering each other on throughout the activities. Highlights included SGP Partners taking part in a tug of war and a light-hearted sack race.

Food stalls served freshly made pizza and burgers, while ice creams were a welcome treat in the summer heat. A variety of drinks kept everyone refreshed, and a DJ provided the upbeat background music that kept the atmosphere lively throughout the day.

What stood out most was the sense of energy, unity, and camaraderie. The summer fair reminded us of the value in these shared moments, not only to reconnect and meet new colleagues, but to celebrate the culture that defines SGP. It’s what we proudly call OneSGP.
