SGP Restoring and Transforming a Leonard Cheshire Residential Home
Stephen George & Partners feel that we should go beyond the basics of ethical business and embrace our responsibility to people and to the planet. We firmly believe in a hands-on involvement for as many
staff members as is practically possible.
In 2007, we made a commitment to invest in people, based on the core value of respect and we called it Respect 2007+. Staff rolled up their collective sleeves and spent a day restoring and transforming a Leonard
Cheshire residential home in Gloucestershire that had been damaged in the summer floods. The home provides active, independent living for 36 disabled residents.
Lora Fullbrook, Fundraiser and Volunteer Co-ordinator for
Leonard Cheshire Disability, said: “I think it is wonderful that Stephen George & Partners really have made a massive difference. I just wish more people could have that kind of perception on things and want to help in such a positive way”.
