Phase 1 of a 152 apartment scheme, Westbridge Wharf Blocks 2 & 3 is now complete, delivering 128 dwellings. The first project to be delivered in the Waterside Regeration (Urban Village) area of Leicester.

Provides a range of apartments from studios to duplex penthouses, situated on a tight site literally on the canal side, achieving a density of in excess of 500 units / hectare.

Heavily contaminated site (Cloth Dyeing) where optimised remediation was completed.

Sub-basement and ground level parking to provide 100% provision.

Post-tensioned concrete build with lightweight external wall.

The project involved archaeological excavation of both medieval and Roman remains and the Roman City wall, as well as previously piled structures on the site.

Extensive negotiations with EA / BW to address flood risk and canalised river improvement works.

The design exploited the waterside location and generated a high quality urban streetscape to Bath Lane.

Involved from inception to occupation via novation.
