SGP Share Top Tips with Architects Journal

The AJ Roundtable is an opportunity for industry experts to share their thoughts on a given topic.
12th August 2014

In July 2014, Chris Halligan was invited to talk about specifying sustainable materials. As well as representatives from the Architects Journal, Chris was joined by members of the concrete industry, Forticrete as well as other Architects and consultants.

Chris raised insightful points including the current lack of statutory legislation regarding sustainable materials and the importance of fitness for purpose when considering specification of green or innovative elements

Concerns are commonly raised about the clarity and availability of information when it comes to materials selection. The consensus from this Roundtable suggested that this situation is beginning to change.

Here at Stephen George & Partners, we are committed to sustainable design and are thrilled that Chris had the opportunity to share his experience with other industry leaders.
