Javaughn works predominantly on SGP’s Industrial and Logistics projects. He has a particular specialism working with surveying technology to conduct site surveys, including Lidar scanners and point cloud scan data to create accurate General Arrangement (GA) drawings for existing buildings.
A winner of the RIBA Prize for Best Dissertation in the School of Build Environment at The University of Wolverhampton 2019, Javaughn is a great believer in incorporating local culture into architectural design, with a view that architecture should resonate with the people who inhabit it, reflecting their values, traditions, and way of life. When a building embodies cultural identity, he says, it creates a sense of belonging and emotional connection between the space and its users.
Outside work, Javaughn enjoys a wide range of hobbies and interests, including Film and Photography, Cars and Motorcycles, Tennis and Martial Arts.
