Ivani Ferrao

A specialist in Healthcare and Design for Mental Health, Ivani is passionate about design and creating spaces for wellbeing. His role includes creating technical drawings and specifications, and he enjoys the process of putting a building together, selecting the best materials and making them blend.

Ivani is particularly proud of his work on the recently completed 150 bed state-of-the-art adult mental health inpatient facility at North Manchester General Hospital – a hospital for which he has a great affection as it was where his son was born.

Ivani enjoys most types of sports, especially football, volleyball (when he is back home in Portugal), and cycling. He also likes gardening and hunting for new things to build or fix in his house or, at times, family members’ houses!

Longer term, he aims to become a MCIAT (Chartered Architectural Technologist) and take his masters in BIM Management.
