Daniel Johnson

As SGPs BIM Manager, Dan is responsible for maintaining BIM standards and resources, and delivering training that enables the project teams to produce high-quality, accurate digital models. As part of the wider Digital team, he aids in the development of SGP’s Kit of Parts and templates, driving efficiency and consistency across all sectors, while supporting the practice’s ongoing ISO 19650 accreditation. 

At a strategic level, Dan researches emerging platforms and workflows to ensure SGP’s systems remain aligned with the latest technological advancements. 

A specialist in Revit, project delivery, and sustainable design, he also contributes to SGP’s Sustainability Strategy and Sustainable Design Guide. A recipient of the Wang Qi Award in Sustainable Architecture, Dan is passionate about creating efficient, sustainable architecture that benefits both the environment and the health and wellbeing of its users. 

Dan is an active member of several Matrix groups, including Inclusion & Diversity, Sustainability (Buildings) and Training.
