A challenging site at Littleover, Derbyshire, with a 1:5 slope, affording
a unique design opportunity to create 25 distinctive detached
houses to compliment the surrounding area and countryside
setting. The design concept of split level houses addresses
the site constraints, providing the living rooms at first
floor level to take full advantage of the magnificent views
over the adjoining golf course. Character and interest has
been achieved through strong landscaping and careful selection
of materials.
The development has been nominated for the
Britannia National Homebuilder Design Awards 2002.
