The Stephen George & Partners Guide to Building Materials and the Environment

Chris Halligan and Jo Denison of Stephen George & Partners Leeds office have written an interactive guide to assist designers in their consideration of the environmental implications of commonly (and occasionally not-so-commonly) specified building materials. The book has been well received and is now being used by universities and practicing architects.

The research for the book was sparked by the design work undertaken for the Sustainable Construction Academy in Kent, for which Stephen George & Partners are the architects.
