Taylor Wimpey New Regional Office, Planning Permission Secured

Planning approval has been granted for Taylor Wimpey’s new regional Office on their site at Newton Leys.

This BREEAM Excellent designed, 1,000 sqm two storey office goes out to tender at the beginning of October.  Stephen George & Partners have been working closely with Taylor Wimpey’s management team to provide a bespoke fit-out in a “fund friendly” shell that will accommodate their staff who are currently housed in central Milton Keynes.

The M&E design includes mixed mode a/c installation with active chilled beams.  Noise generated by the adjoining HGV route to a nearby landfill site and the proximity of the West Coast mainline precludes a naturally ventilated solution so the proposal includes 100 sqm of PVs to help achieve the required energy targets.
