SGP Leeds recently entered a design competition for a site in Morecambe run by Urban Splash. As we took a decision to propose a concept which we felt would benefit the town rather than maximise profits for the developer, we knew we would face an uphill struggle. Despite being exceptionally enthusiastic about our design, we did not make it into the short-listed final six.
