Stephen George and Partners appointed as master plan architects for Dickens Heath village centre in Solihull, consisting of 11,000 sq m of retail and commercial development integrated with 230 dwellings.
The creation of a dynamic village centre, linking the unique waterside development with all other residential zones has been achieved through a sequence of static and dynamic urban spaces and pedestrian routes. The design of the residential element addresses a wide range of social needs, from key worker apartments to large town houses, forming individual environments with distinct character to encourage community life.
